With the job already in place, the next step was to find a home. This home is owned by a young guy who plays professional soccer in Turkey. The upstairs is rented out to a family of 6 children, only four living with them. We live downstairs. The door to our place you enter through the carport.
The suite is brand new, with fresh paint, floors, cabinetry; you name it. Its small and quaint, but we are making it our own and we love having a place to call ours. The suite was being renovated in the summer and after its completion, the septic backed up and ruined the entire suite. Nonetheless, insurance gutted the entire place and start again from scratch. It was during this time, we learnt about this suite from a coworker of Chris' and after seeing it once in mid construction said "YES." After a long wait, we moved in the first weekend of October and we are now settled with only a few pictures to hang on the wall.

So far the plan is to stay here until the end of January. We may extend this stay or decide to move on. We will see where life brings us. We are, after all, along for the ride.
